When assessing your space, we will constantly be taking into consideration things such as what materials we might use both natural and manmade to create steps or pathways, arbours and screens. We will also take note of options for garden features that might punctuate and personalise an area of the garden as well as the use of a lawn or paving area to create a void to give the surrounding garden breathing space.

Our Garden Design Process

When working with our clients, we follow a 3 step process to ensure the project runs smoothly from start to finish. These are the three steps that our Garden Design process follows:

Consultation

We start with a visit to your garden to discuss your brief, budget and assess the space. To ensure the best results we consider how your family intends to use the space, your lifestyle and maintenance requirements, lighting, shade, soil and drainage conditions as well as topography of the land.

Concept

A full design concept and quote is created that will include items such as planting options, materials and layout of the space. We will send this on to you and can meet in person to go through the plan and collaborate on any items that may need to be changed; we make sure expectations are aligned and you can visualise the completed project.

Design Finalisation

Upon approval of the design concept, we will move forward in creating a detailed overview of what is required for the landscaping such as hardscape elements (example. retaining walls, decks, water features etc), softscape features (example. plants, turf, trees etc.) and accessories (example. Irrigation and lighting).

Once these three steps are completed and our client is satisfied to move forward, the siteworks will commence.

Upon completion, we will work with you to develop a maintenance plan to ensure your new space is kept looking it’s best.
